Thank You Pierre Andre Latreille

Reptile is everywhere. It is everywhere when the sun is not everywhere. Reptile goes to the land and lays eggs and keeps us safe at night. There is a reptile building my house out of scales and amniotic membrane and feces and it is creeping. Reptile is not amphibian, it is not my mother, it is not my focal point. Reptile smells like my kidneys and lays my eggs for me. There is this tree with reptiles hanging from it and they are not tempting; reptile is not a reference to god. My bed is reptile, it is warm and amniotic and my eggs. Reptile is my favorite kind of ice cream and my favorite kind of boot. Reptile is not dead for me.

Reptiles know just how to make my pancakes, because they use their eggs. Reptiles are my pancakes. Reptiles keep us fed, they keep us close, they keep us.

A perfectly healthy sentence, it is true, is extremely rare. For the most part we miss the hue and fragrance of the thought; as if we could be satisfied with the dews of the morning or evening without their colors, or the heavens without their azure. - Henry David Thoreau
